The Top 5 Pirate Games on Android in Latin America: A Q1 2021 Snapshot
The first quarter of 2021 has been an adventurous period for pirate-themed games on Android in Latin America. Sensor Tower's data provides us with valuable insights into how these games have performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Starting with Pirates of the Caribbean: ToW, the game saw its downloads peak in mid-January with over 6K, before gradually descending to around 3.5K by the end of March. Revenue showed a similar trend with a high in mid-January at just over $2K, dipping to around $1.6K towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users remained fairly consistent, starting at 12K and ending slightly lower at around 11K.
Pirate Kings™️ had a remarkable spike in downloads in late March with over 600 downloads, quite the jump from virtually zero in the preceding weeks. Revenue, while modest, saw a gradual increase from $349 to $428 in early March, then a decline to around $209 by the quarter's end. Active users showed a slight decline from 1.7K to 1.5K over the period.
